Please follow your regular downtime processes as outlined below:

  • Wait for your ordering application to become available or send batch sheets from your internal laboratory information system (LIS).

If sending your internal LIS batch sheet, it must include the following:

  • Client account number
  • Two patient identifiers
  • MCL test name
  • MCL test code
  • Ask-at-order entry questions and answers
  • Batch sheet temperature
  • Indication of any shared specimens
  • If there is an immediate need to send testing and your system is unavailable, use the Downtime Form.
